Wake up once again

Wake up once again
dear, awaken among fallen stars
dawn-winged young-rays
stand at the open door
wake up once again

Eyes like bees
which got trapped in honey’s path
your closed eyes
drink honey in silence
or sleep in lotus flowers
the hum is waning
wake up once again

The sun prepares to set
in moon-imaged night
sea has been painted
night jasmine has awakened
with corner vision the red-legged partridge stares
filled with hope, in emotional and silent language

encircling with fervor
dew-laden-anxious-hive
open bent flowers
land in buds, in honey
delights-chest-youth-chest-swell
wake up once again

Notes-of-lover, cuckoos say
upon a bed a separation-burnt bride
remembers old conversations
and nights of reconciliation
your beautiful eyelids close, the eyes-waters fall
decreasing sorrow-weight
wake up once again

Like the good-hearted breeze
wipe dear, your eyes’ waters
your sleepy relaxed arms
fill with dreamy surge
and free the anxious chest from cloth
let the sleep be in hedonism
the laziness endures
let it get spread on back
more fragile than imagination
season-cruel lustful-expanse hair-bunch

The tired body-mind
like a delicate smell in the wind
intelligence rapt in intelligence
mind in mind, heart in heart
let one experience keep flowing
in amphibious souls
long have I been calling
wake up once again

The sun rises in Arunachal
and arrives as beauty in a poet’s throat
changes momentarily
keeps shifting nature’s-veil
day has gone, night arrived
night has gone, and opened day
just like this the world passes days, fortnights, months
years in so many thousands
wake up once again
