Welcome to the inaugural episode of Circumference Radio. For this series, hosted by Michael Barron and our new music editor-at-large Jacob Gorchov (of Palto Flats), we turned to the poets and writers from our print issue, and put together a mix of songs from the places they hail and sung in the languages in which they write. This first mixtape features Russian protest punk, Ethiopian jazz, Hong Kong avant-Cantopop, Peruvian psych rock, and more.
